The Annapolis Royal Folly bed and breakfast inn welcomes guests to be pampered like royalty in hear of the Historic District of Annapolis. It is located directly across from the beautiful St. John's College, and steps away from the U.S. Naval Academy, the Maryland State Capitol, and the many shops and restaurants of downtown Annapolis. Yet, with all the activities surrounding it, the Royal Folly remains a quiet haven where guests can relax by the fire, enjoy the soothing outdoor hot tub, or simply relax in the elegant, large well-appointed suites. Enjoy the front parlor with its fireplace and a selection of guidebooks and menus. The formal dining has an antique crystal chandelier, leaded glass windows and a fireplace. Relax on the large deck that overlooks lovely St. John's College, or the semi-private deck that features a hot tub. There is also a bricked courtyard with a fountain and sitting area for their guests' pleasure. The inn provides a full breakfast each morning, including fruit, various juices, coffee and tea, fresh-baked breads, and a hot dish with added sides for a nourishing and fulfilling breakfast. A computer room is available with free, high-speed wireless Internet and fax. Constructed in 1870, this historic home has recently undergone major renovations to create a very comfortable living environment with modern amenities, while preserving the grandeur of the original structure and its old-world charm.

All of the suites at the Royal Folly have newly tiled private baths with heated towel racks and heavy bathrobes, as well as cable television with a VCR, central air conditioning, alarm clock with CD/radio, fresh flowers, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, and a small refrigerator. The standard queen suite is a lovely room with a queen bed, which showcases the fireplace with its original cypress wood mantle and hand-painted deft tiles. This suite has a view of Randall Court and access to the semi-private deck with a hot tub. The deluxe queen suite is a spacious room with a four-poster queen bed and a beautiful fireplace. Guests will enjoy the view of St. John's College from its cozy window seats. Just steps away from the suite is the front deck, where guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of Annapolis, and the Navy's football parades.

65 College Avenue, Annapolis, MD - From Baltimore-Washington International Airport: Depart the airport onto I-195 West. Take the MD-170 North exit, Exit 1, toward I-97/Annapolis/Bay Bridge. Merge onto Aviation Boulevard and continue for three miles. Turn left onto Dorsey Road/MD-176 East. Merge onto I-97 South toward Annapolis/Bay Bridge and continue for approximately 15 miles. Take the MD-665 exit toward Aris T Allen Boulevard/Riva Road. Merge onto US-50 East/US-301 North via Exit 22, on the left, toward Annapolis/Bay Bridge. Take the Rowe Boulevard South exit, Exit 24, toward Annapolis. Merge onto MD-70 East. Turn leftt onto College Avenue/MD-450 and continue for less than 1/10 mile to the property. The inn is located on the right-hand side of the street.
